About Us

We understand that Alzheimer′s and other types of memory diseases can be extremely challenging not only to the individual who is facing the disease, but also to the entire family. We also understand that the decision to place a loved one in the care of others is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions you′ll ever have to make. Knowing this, we are here to make the decision – and transition – as simple and reassuring as possible. We are here for our residents and their families with expert dementia and memory care services.

Our Community

Sierra Del Sol is ideally situated in a residential area on the desirable Northeast side of Tucson, bordering the beautiful Saguaro National Park East. Our assisted living community is also right off the Speedway next to Mesquite Valley Growers, giving residents easy access to many grocery stores, doctors offices, banks, golf courses, parks and restaurants in the area. Plus we are just minutes from two major hospitals which are Tucson Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital.

We understand the importance of getting to know each of our residents on an individual level. This allows us to get to know each of our resident’s life stories so we are able to create moments that are personally meaningful to them.

Sierra Del Sol Senior Living offers assisted living apartments with tranquil first and second story views.

To ensure we meet your needs we use a computerized assessment tool. This helps to accurately monitor Assisted Living services for each resident. In addition our Wellness Director will visit with you on a regular basis to personally discuss health-related issues and to monitor your progress.

Common areas include our lovely grand dining room, a cozy living room with fireplace, a separate private dining room for intimate family gatherings, a library and activities room, and a TV room. In addition to our fully enclosed outdoor courtyard, we have several outdoor patio areas.

Memory Care

Sierra Del Sol offers an innovative memory care program for residents with Alzheimer’s or memory disorders. The premise of the memory care program is simple: we create specially designed memory care neighborhoods that provide a personalized, familiar and secure setting tailored to each resident’s unique needs.

Within this environment, our highly trained staff joins residents in their moment, rather than trying to bring them into our reality. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity.

At Sierra Del Sol, we offer 36 single story memory care apartments. Common areas include a private dining room, and an fully enclosed outdoor courtyard. We are just minutes from St. Joseph’s Hospital and Tuscon Medical Center, as well as many other fine medical facilities in the surrounding area.
