This place is a mess! Trash everywhere, parking lot is full plastic bottles, bags and food containers that are being blown across entire street. Not only it is telling a bit about the cleanliness of entire place but also attitude towards local community I brought it up to management and got zero response. I would stay away.

Most disturbing facility I’ve ever seen. My mother paid for the “5 star insurance” for THIS? I took her out after 2 days & came to take care of her from out of state. Had her physician friends not dropped in to visit, She may have fallen since somehow they allowed her to wander from her room to the common rooms. I have no idea how she had the strength to do that without falling and busting her head open. Fall risk isn’t a thing there. This place should be illegal based on unsanitary conditions & understaffing alone! SOMEONE is getting paid for these beds & passing on the lack of care to the patients. She said the food was good so perhaps the kitchen manager is the one that cares, kudos to him/her! Look for another place & take care of your loved one until then. I absolutely broke down when I had to leave her there. Flew back to get her in 48 hours. No way!

Shore Acres is an amazing facility. The Director of nursing is very accommodating and does anything she can for her staff and patients. The Nursing staff has been there for years, they treat all of their patients like they are family. The administrator is very hands on and has a genuine concern for every patient and their family. They have a great physical therapy director who makes himself available to all family members and The activities director is very creative and always has something fun planned.

My great grandmother spent the last 6 months of her life in this facility, and our family could not have put her in better hands. The staff are extremely professional, organized, friendly, and most importantly caring. My great grandmother would always tell us about how great her nurses were, kind and patient. The staff was very helpful in making her last couple of months the most comfortable. We are forever thankful for the team at Shore Acres.

My grandfather was at patient at this facility for over a year until his passing. The care he received was absolutely excellent. The staff is very professional and caring. The facility was always clean and well kept. The new administration and nursing staff was extremely helpful and attentive. My grandfather was well groomed very time we visited. No one ever wants to put their loved in a nursing home but if I ever had to make this decision again, Shore Acres would be my first choice!
