I know several of the staff who work at this facility. I retired years ago as a CNA, and have worked in other nursing homes over the years. This facility is exceptional. It is very clean, and you can tell the staff truely care about their residents. I enjoy watching all the fun activities they post on facebook of their residents having fun. I also would like to add my father in law was there at this facility several times for Rehab many years ago, and this building has improved 100%.

We had to make the decision 3 years ago to place my mother in this facility. It was a very hard decision, but from day one she received great care. She became to love it there. The nurses and aides on the 3rd floor were amazing. They were patient and very caring. She had activities every day to keep her busy and three great meals a day. I couldn't have picked a better place for her. Thank you all, and thank you Shelly, she adored you.

This facility is not the most luxurious or expansive, however the management and staff down to the youngest aide are loving, caring and if you have experienced other nursing homes, you'll know this one is special. The food looks homemade and is generous. The facility is clean. It smells clean, not like some that I've experienced. Housekeeping is always working. My mother is receiving exceptional care. I receive phone calls when anything medically comes up. The staff keeps me well informed. I don't have to take her to doctor's appointments - he comes to her. Also, I receive quarterly in person updates on Mother's health and wellbeing. The staff works hard to provide activities, games, live musical entertainment, visits by pets, etc. If any family is unhappy with the service or care provided at this facility, I invite them to get out and find out about rehabilitation and health care in the real world. We feel fortunate to have found this small gem in tiny Shippensburg.

My mom was at this facility for rehab. She had no complaints while she was there. Our family was happy with the care she received, nursing kept us informed, and her therapy went as planned. They were able to transport her to all of her appointments. Staff were very friendly with Mom. They were even able to get her out to some of the activities, which was really nice. Her room and the rest of the building was clean.

You can tell that they truely care about their residents. I would suggest this facility to anyone looking for long-term or rehab services.
