My wife broke both fibulas and her right ankle. After surgery it was recommended skilled nursing facility. Sherwood was one of 2 covered by her insurance. Have to be honest. When I drove up to the facility, I was not impressed. Old building kind of run down. My first thought was no way I was leaving my loved one here but I went inside and yes it is in need of renovations (which they are working on). After speaking with Karna in admissions about what was needed and being assured that they could handle it and taking a short tour. I decided to give them a try. The care and attentiveness was top notch. All the employees from the administration down to the nursing assistants seemed to really care. Don’t get me wrong, when you push the call light for assistance, sometimes there was a short wait but they never failed to come. Most people look at the shell of a place and make their decisions. I am sure glad I wasn’t one of them. I would use them again in a heartbeat if the need arises Top notch care takes precedence over the visual looks.

I just want to say thank you to all the staff at Sherwood manor for taking such great care of my mother. I come visit about 3 or 4 times a month and the facility is so well kept, and clean. The staff is always friendly when I visit and every holiday they go out of their way to make sure all the residence feel loved. So thank you, you alls hard work and dedication to make sure all the residence have a good home and living environment does not go unnoticed.

I wouldn't even give this place one star the only reason I did is so I could post do not put your loved one in this facility my mom was a nervous wreck hair greasy told me she hadn't been bathed in over a month she was shaking with tremors I finally got her to calm down when I took her to the whirlpool myself it's a horrible place lack of morals lack of work ethic plenty of malpractice. Somebody needs to check on this place and these poor residents

Came in to drop off a door dash and the place smells so bad I feel really bad for the patients here. It was visibly soiled and smelled like urine. I saw a cockroach at the nurses station. I hope the families know that these are the conditions that their loved ones are in :( That was just me walking in and walking out I can’t imagine what their rooms look like if that’s the first impression
