* Note: all the one-star reviews most often the only review ever written by the complainant. I cannot say enough about how thoroughly pleased I am with SSNR - both the facility and staff - and of how well the facility is run. First impressions from non-scheduled visit: no odor of any type; individuals with whom I came into contact were friendly and professional, wearing name tags clearly identifying their name and role. Residents appeared well taken care of, nobody slumped over in a wheelchair asleep in a corridor. Settled in: clean, organized rooms with like furnishings in good repair are visually appealing. Ditto the foyer. Also clean, updated, organized, warm and inviting. Dining room: clean, organized, walls are not dinged nor dented, furnishings match and are in good repair, each table having seasonal centerpiece, a large wall TV also available for residents. Therapy room: clean and organized. Activities area: roomy space for residents to gather and puzzle and/or participate in guided activities. Courtyard: large combo grassy and sidewalk area with a variety of seating options. Overall facility general areas: clean, kempt. It is not uncommon to see floors being mopped, handrails being sanitized... My person: ALWAYS clean, hair brushed, neatly dressed. Bed linens also always clean and bed made. Food: Impressive. LOTS of meals in rotation. MANY options for beverages at mealtime. Also 5-6 options for those who many not want what’s on the menu. "Daily Chronicle": delivered to each resident daily listing the day’s meals along with puzzles, “this day in history...". Staff: Impressive. Genuine care and compassion are readily observed. That each department (nursing, nutrition [kitchen], therapy, aides/STNA, admin, activities, housekeeping, laundry, “agency”) know, acknowledge, and engage personally with each of the residents is uplifting. I’ve yet to witness anyone “just hanging out” or with a “can’t help/not my area” attitude - including when attending to administrative responsibilities ("charting"). It is a very well-oiled machine, everyone willingly helping one-another. My only regret: not learning of SSNR sooner and having a vastly different experience elsewhere lending appreciation for this staff and facility.

I wish i could put 0 stars! This is the worst place ever. Don’t send anyone here ever please! The floors are dirty. The rooms are small. The staff does not care … half the time you can’t find anyone to ask or address an issue. Attaching a string to a call light .. like are you serious .. I could go on & on about how horrible this place is ….. very sad
