Call response is fast. Sounds minor until you've had a parent fall at a facility because nobody came for 20 minutes. They told us 5 minutes and they mean it. I've tested it. That only works because the home is small enough to actually allow it.

Toured six facilities before landing here for my mother-in-law. The bigger ones, Landing at Watercrest, a couple others, were clean and professional but felt like hotels. Serenity Pointe felt like walking into someone's actual home. Caregivers knew residents' names, preferences, what they liked watching on TV. That specificity is what you're paying for.

We were in full crisis mode when we found this place. Mom had a fast decline after a fall and we needed placement immediately. Even rushed, they did a real intake, assessed her actual needs, built a care plan that fit her. We weren't handed a room number. The difference in her wellbeing since getting there has been real.

lowkey the best call we ever made for grandma. same caregivers every day, and that consistency alone has done wonders for her anxiety. she's going outside now, talking to people, stuff she'd stopped doing at home. the energy in that place is just different from anything else we toured

Beautiful home. Natural light, comfortable furniture, nothing clinical about the feel of it. When my aunt moved in she said it didn't feel like a facility at all. She'd been at The Reserve before and felt the difference immediately. She has a real sense of belonging there now.
