This place is amazing. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The list of things they offer is extraordinary. They have bingo, crafts, painting classes, exercise and dance classes, exercise equipment, card games, knitting club, music open mike, Bible study, pickleball,bus trips, picnics and low cost hot daily meals and more. I highly recommend the Tai Chi class for arthritis and fall prevention and drum ball. They also have inbound care programs, meals on wheels, transportation, free medical equipment (if available) and more. Majority of activities are free and available to everyone. Some activities/programs require a person to be 60+ or to be a resident of WV.

Okay, as shameful as it is, I'm officially a "senior". That said, there's not a lot of "senior" things to do around Berkeley Springs. That's where Senior Life Services comes in. They offer a ton of different options including standard things like Bingo and some assistance things (food, utilities, etc.), but what really makes it awesome are some of the extracurricular events they do like bus trips and special places to visit. Nothing I ever would have expected in a small rural town.

I went in to donate some crutches. And woman said thank you. And then I went to post a poster up to sell a scooter. The woman took it and said she would post it in the cafeteria. Other than that I don't know how they are. I have not done any activities there. But they do have a little gym that you can go in. They offer meals for seniors which is good and they have a large Library. They also have lots of puzzles.

We were able to do our taxes for free with AARP and No worry..I am 73 and needed to feel that no mistakes were made by me. Thank you Senior Life Services and AARP the lady that did our taxes was very kind and knowledgeable and she was a Senior, glad some body cares about us seniors on this world of uncertainity. ❤️
