Update 5/19/26- new management over my mother's case. They seem very responsive and I am looking forward to working with the team to transition my mother to a permanent assisted living home. I want to thank senior life for all that they have done and for the new engagement.I feel like we're getting from them. I changed the rating to 4 stars as a result of these interactions. They were good when mom was able to be on her own. They need to not use personal relationships with patients to hold onto that Medicare money when it's time for mom to go into assisted living. The nurse uses her relationship with my mother and my siblings to keep that revenue stream active for the company. They get over $5k a month from Medicare for each patient. Then they bad mouth assisted living facilities that do not have a relationdhip with them. It's a terrible business model from my personal perspective.

Some participants are riddled with bed bugs and staff has them in the building. For months this has been going on. Activities are supposed to be from 9am till 4 pm participants are out of building by 2pm. No real Activities for them to do just bingo.

YES. I AM BEING LOUD FOR A WARNING Do not subject your loved ones to this place. I joined after Thanksgiving 2024. Your loved ones are only to get minimal care and broken promises and lies. They were to provide physical therapy, a knee brace and a transport chair. Never got done. Just excuses. So many of the elderly don't know they an advocate for their Healthcare. All I saw was many elderly just set in a group around a table with nothing to do. We are promised daily activities. All we get is Bingo on Friday. I had a Dr appointment scheduled for December 10,2024. I was told by the recruiter, nurse and social worker they will pay the bill. Here we are March of 2025 and it's not paid. I am getting collection letters. Even the executive offices. Robert Sauers even led to me twice. See them at the district court! Please be very careful. By the way your medicaid and Medicare advantage insurance is canceled because Senior Life becomes your insurance. Don't do it. You will be sorry you put a loved one there. Be extremely careful

My MIL was picked up by this company’s transportation service on Monday 11/4 to be taken to the senior center. The driver of the bus flipped it and caused great bodily injury to my MIL. Wendy, the supervisor, was incredibly rude on the phone when the hospital needed the transportation company’s information to treat my MIL, YET AGAIN, for the accident she was in over 4 months ago. I recorded the call, and the recording announced that it was being recorded, but she didn’t hear it because she was too busy talking over me. She lost it when I reminded her that it was being recorded and started claiming she didn’t consent to being recorded. Well Wendy, in a court of law, all you need to record a call for legal purposes, is something stating that the call is being recorded, as it did. She said things like “oh lord” when I simply needed information to have my MIL treated. Her demeanor is the furthest thing from professional and to make matters worse, she never got back to me, as she said she would by the end of that day. My advice to this senior facility? Get a new supervisor. Wendy clearly does not care about her clients, which is sickening considering seniors with dementia are a highly vulnerable demographic of people. This needs to be rectified immediately and someone needs to reprimand Wendy for her awful customer service. I would post pictures of my MIL’s injuries, but since they’re on her face I do not wish to exploit her any further. Just know that they are horrific and this entire incident should’ve NEVER happened. Do better. No wonder your ratings are so low. How does the supervisor of the company not know the name of the ONLY transportation company?! Pure negligence. We will now be making senior life well aware of our devotion to ensuring my MIL is safe under their care / transportation. I will be calling every day my MIL attends senior life to ensure she is safe and being treated with respect, dignity, and basic human kindness. Sounds to me like Wendy needs a job in another field because she is absolutely awful. There is never a reason my MIL should come home with injuries after being treated in the hospital TWICE. Also, they failed to replenish her pill pack and I had to call a weekend nurse to have them delivered. These are medications my MIL takes twice daily that are life sustaining. Entirely unacceptable. All of this, entirely unacceptable and grossly negligent. I will always advocate for my MIL’s safety and it’s a shame I have to remind nurses and supervisors to do their job while also worrying that her transportation is dangerous. This situation needs to be rectified immediately or a lawsuit will take place. Don’t mess with my family and expect me to keep quiet about it. I feel sorry for the seniors who aren’t fortunate enough to have family advocating for them because who knows what hardships they have to face. It’s sickening.

The organization was ok while my mother lived in her own place. Once we got my mother into Alexandria Manor, everything changed. Now we can barely get a hold of anyone. Mom complains that Senior Life is way too overcrowded. Lack of involvement with case workers. Lack of phone calls or emails returned. It's pathetic how little involvement Senior Life had with their patients scrotal Healthcare.
