Pour organization in general. They want to make all appointments for the patient, but then don't tell the patient of the date or time till last minute. They will send a new medication out but forget to inform the patient. Forget going to the center to speak to staff, that's an all day event. You're forced to stay for lunch then when staff is ready to honor you with there time, it's quick in and no questions.

Senior Life is the most worthless Senior Care organization around.... My mom wanted them to get her a box from the food bank because she has no way to go there and they couldn't even help her... So she's going to drop their services as soon as she can.... It's a shame too with everybody that is struggling...

Once they get you in they sure do not want to let you go. This is money making operation with no regard to a patients well being or the family's wishes. I would never recommended this program. They would rather have you sit at home alone and hope they show up to take care of you (which half the time they don't ) than to put you in a skilled nursing facility to get the care you deserve. If I could choose anything less than 1 star I would.

If you ever want to use them and are self pay run don't walk away. They promise you the world when you sign up and never follow through on their promises. The intake girls are very nice. I guess that's how they get you hooked. The nurse Gabby is the only person that seems to care. They constantly call you and make promises to correct the problems yet it still continues. If you have a loved one with dementia install a camera because they will tell you that they are coming every day yet they are not.

My brother was a client of Senior Life for about 12 months. I live about 1.45 hours away. I thought Senior Life was the best option to meet his needs. Senior Life was very eager to sign him up for services; however the level of care he received afterwards was inadequate. His personal care needs were not met by the aides assigned; laundry was the only service done regularly; apartment was cleaned sporadically and not well. He needed dental care and vision care neither of which were addressed. He was never taken to the Senior Life Center. He could have benefited from physical therapy and this was not provided. He did not have adequate nutritious food. The day he was taken to the hospital, a clerk from Senior Life called me to inform me. He passed away in the Emergency Department. As his next of kin, I have never heard from Senior Life since the clerk called me. My brother received a home health aide schedule in the mail the week after he passed. It was addressed to him but the schedule was for another female client! If you have a loved one on Senior Life, keep close tabs on the services being promised vs provided.
