My mother just moved into Palm Court 5 days ago. This was a move my mother was not in favor of, but she is adapting. Our family has been greatly impressed with Palm Court in so many ways. They have been accommodating and helpful at every turn. My mother's studio apartment is spacious and beautiful - lots of natural light, and lots of storage. The residents have been friendly and outgoing. My mother's primary care doctor, who is a very well respected MD with Cedars, is very familiar with Palm Court. He states it's the best in Los Angeles - even compared to many places charging so much more. As one resident responded when I asked how she liked the food, "it's acceptable." I think that's a fair statement. Some things are better than others, it's a bit of a learning curve. When you're feeding so many people at one time, and the food is for an elderly population (low sodium), it's not going to be gourmet. But in reality, most of us don't eat gourmet day to day. Also, lots of great amenities and right next door to the Culver City Senior Center.
