Older building but they have kept it so nice! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and kindness. The residents and staff are smiling and that always said alot to me. Clean and nicely decorated. I never ate the food there but it usually looked pretty good. They seem to genuinely care about the residents. There was always someone there ti talk with me if i had any questions or concerns. Would def check it out if you need longterm care or rehab services!

My father was transferred to Sapphire Ridge after his demetia progressed and he was not able to walk. As our family reflects on the experience, we feel like we gained extended family members in such a short time. The staff at every level was professional, caring, proactive, and kind. They communicated with us and patiently answered our many questions. Not only were they attentive to my father's needs, but they looked out for us too. The entire experience reaffirms my faith that if we just look, there are angels among us.

My mother in law went into Sapphire Ridge after a brain bleed, which was a terminal situation. The staff and administration were amazing with her and with keeping me informed about her with phone calls several times a week (I live 3 hours away). When she was still able to talk, they took the time to Facetime with her sister, grandchildren and other family, and when she was no longer communincating, they played her favorite music, opened the window for fresh air, talked to her, and treated her with dignity until the very end.

We've been to visit someone there a few times, and the nurses seem to be very nice and seem to really care about the patients. He really likes it there and he seems to be busy with activities and happy. The only negative that we've encountered is the cleaning woman. She comes in to clean his room when we go to visit and she just takes over the room, separating us, making us move out of her way, and talking over us so we just have to stop and wait until she's finished to continue our conversation and visit with the patient. She takes her time and goes over areas 3 or 4 times, so it's quite a long wait. Our time is limited, so it's very frustrating to all of us. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.
