It's so sweltering hot upstairs with no AC. Unbearable! 92 degrees in my room! I was told by staff 2 times that it was fixed but lied to when I found out one of the pumps is blown. I've brought this and other issues up to the maintenance person Devilin whom is quick to argue instead of resolving the issues. I've had to leave for days at a time due to the extreme heat and truly feel for those that are not able to.

Staff work diligently to ensure resident needs are met! They are caring and try hard every day to do the right thing!

The new ED Is the best!! Getting stuff done where the old ED messed everything up.

I am very positive about The Amber assisted living. The new management is great - very conscientious about doing a great job and ensuring everything runs well and residents are well cared for.<br>The staff are extraordinary - very caring and friendly towards the residents there. It's not just for show, either - I've walked through the facility on off-hours to visit relatives and have seen caregivers sitting and speaking with residents, holding their hands and bringing them comfort. This to me is what assisted living is truly about and I am so thankful that The Amber is where some of our family has decided to live now that they need extra help.<br>There is always something going on there like bingo or pedicures or folks gather in the group area to talk or play piano or just sit and relax. If you're looking for a safe place for family members who need extra care, where the staff are attentive and kind and the food is pretty darn good - then check out The Amber.
