In a place like this, there are supposed to be patient people—nurses—but some of them don't know the meaning of patience or compassion toward people who are sick and in pain. If you have a family member—a husband, a sick loved one—there, my recommendation is to keep a close eye on them. The nurses don't really look after them; they leave them lying in a urine-soaked bed for hours, and if they ask for help, the staff pretend not to understand and take their sweet time changing or caring for them.

I arrived to take my friend to the hospital and was unable to get her in the car, the Risk manager was out front and attempted to help but we were unable to get her in the car, I was informed she would have to pay to be taken by the facility due to her Medicare was changed to traditional Medicare. Her Cancer treatments haven’t been set up by the facility in the last 3 months or since she was sent over from Arcadia rehab facility which apparently she should have more physical therapy as she has weakened considerably since she got there, This should not have fallen through the cracks somewhere along the line there has been poor communication which has caused a delay of medical care and she clearly is not on hospice.

This place is a JOKE. It's very outdated. Rooms are small and dirty. My family member has PTSD from their stay here. The CNA'S are loud and rude they race up and down the hallways at night. Yelling and screaming like their nuts. They don't give the call lights to the residents. As you'll see in the pictures. The NURSES carry around medication and take it into other rooms as they do med pass. Leaving the med cart at nurses station. Dropping used lancets and leaving them lay. As you'll see in pictures. I would rather not leave a star but you have to to rate the place ggrr.

Samantha, is the Administrator for this awesome rehabilitation center. Love and help pours out as soon as your are admitted. Kelly, and Natalie were our nurses, and Ronda kept everything spotless. My dad just checked out after his second visit there. When you are offered rehabilitation in the hospital, please look these guys up, even if it is not close. It's going to be worth it. Thank you!!

Love all the folks at Santa Rosa. My loved one has been there just over 2 1/2 years and I’m so glad we were able to get her into this facility. It is an older facility but the maintenance and cleaning folks take good care of the place. The food is good, the activities people work so hard, front desk (Erica) is great. Rehab and wound care folks are great, social workers work so hard. Doctor, nurses and all their support staff are great. The administrator Samantha is always accessible as are the other administrative folks. Their doors are pretty much always open when they’re on site. My family member doesn’t necessarily choose to participate in group activities but staff do a great job of bringing things to her. (She loves the regular pet visits!). I do believe the scope of what they are responsible for providing to their residents is staggering but somehow they deliver . Oh, the inner courtyard is quite a treat too!
