Great nurses and great cna's. There is only one member of the staff with whom I had trouble dealing with. Will just leave it at that. The food was good. I had mentioned volunteering some. So please feel free to call me on the subject of volunteering. Thanks, Dearl Dixon.

My sister and I have been going to visit my aunt a couple of times a month for about a year now. I have nothing but good things to say about Sandy Ridge. The staff is very attentive and kind. My aunt says they are good to her. They talk to her and treat her like family. The lady that does activities with them is very sweet and always has time to speak to us. My aunt seems to enjoy all the activities and games too. Overall, I am impressed with the care my aunt receives and want to thank all the staff and anyone else involved in that.

My mom has been at Sandy Ridge for 9 months. I have been very pleased with her care! I visit 1 1/2-2+ hours everyday and have got to know the staff and residents; they are now like family to me. It is a relief to now have peace of mind, my mom is being cared for. She is encouraged and participates in their daily activities, something she did not have in her own home. While at home, she was existing in a chair in front of the tv. She now enjoys good meals, bingo, crafts, church services, group outings, etc. I enjoy getting involved in the activities as well. My mom having dementia will be long term in the facility.

My sister admitted to this facility in November. The staff were warm and welcoming. She tells me that she felt well cared for. The staff kept her and the family informed of her progress. The therapy department was amazing and she was able to improve and discharge home. The building was clean, and she says the food was good. Her admission and discharge processes were smooth.
