The environment is not conducive to caring for the elderly. Even though, there is a so called nutritionist on staff, the food is substandard. Prisoners get better food than what I witnessed for my mom. For example, a sandwich that consisted of one piece of processed turkey on wheat bread, pudding cup and a small container of milk. Where is the protein? CNA's are babysitters, not always available and you have to remind the staff to bathe and provide basic hygiene (brush teeth, wash face ), change depend diapers, for the elderly. When asked, why didn't you change the depends diaper, the answer is, oh, the person (who has dementia) didn't want me to. So my mom got a UTI infection and then placed in the hospital. don't even get me started on all the theft that occurred. IE: new clothes that kept getting stolen from my mom's room after one night? There was mainly men who were in the wing that she stayed in. Hmmm, after one night the clothes could not be found.Where could the newly purchased clothes have gone after one night? Home with someone???? i highly do not recommend this place.

I am writing this to warn other families: DO NOT trust this facility with your loved ones. My husbands grandfather that is 97-year-old, he has dementia, suffered multiple falls while under supervision. They are more interested in making excuses than in keeping vulnerable seniors safe. Save yourself the heartache and find a place that actually cares.

05/07/26<br><br>My grandmother was recently placed in this facility, and until now she had not experienced any issues. However, between approximately 12:00–1:00 a.m. last night, she accidentally soiled herself and immediately informed the nurse on duty. Two nurses then escorted her to the shower room, where they proceeded to wipe her down with cold towels. She was visibly distressed and repeatedly told them the towels were cold, but instead of addressing her discomfort, they closed the door while she was screaming. At one point, one of the nurses threw a clean diaper at her face. When my grandmother stated that she intended to file a complaint, both nurses laughed at her. Later, two different nurses entered the room to “follow up” on the incident. During this conversation, they asked me whether my grandmother is ever confused. I informed them that she does not suffer from memory loss. As they left the room, one of the nurses made an inappropriate facial expression, which further contributed to the unprofessional tone of the interaction. Additionally, the facility’s condition does not reflect what has been represented. Although the entrance appears remodeled, the room my grandmother has been staying in is in poor condition. The floors are sticky, there is a crack in the flooring, brown stains are visible on the ceiling, the paint is chipping, and part of the wall near the window is damaged. These conditions raise concerns about cleanliness, safety, and overall quality of care. Given the seriousness of the incident and the facility’s response, I have significant doubts that any corrective action has been taken regarding the staff members involved.
