Vilas is a wonderful place. The staff is friendly and professional. The buildings and grounds are well kept and comfortable. I recommend anyone considering elder care, consider Vilas first.

I’ve recently had the experience of transitioning my mother to the Samuel F. Vilas living community with relative ease and personalized support. Of course it’s been a big adjustment but the professional one-on-one responsive attention we received from staff and especially her case manager, Jenn King has made the experience seamless and pleasant. My mother is settling in nicely filling her days with meals she looks forward to, activities she enjoys and friendships she’s making. Before she passed my mother lived at Vilas Home and we could not have asked for a better place for her. The staff is amazing, the facility is beautiful and the activities are abundant. My mother loved all of the things she was able to do as a resident and our family loved knowing she was safe and happy!

My grandma was at Vilas for almost a year. She was treated like she was the most important patient in the place. Everybody from cleaning crew to high level office personnel were so wonderful to her and made her feel at home.

I loved the way they really care for the residents it’s not just a job to them but they really care. My mom was there and she enjoyed her time there they treated her with so much respect and kindness, she even danced to the live music they got in and I had never seen my mother dance before. The stimulation she received was so much better than her being at home she had social interaction with others her age and even younger. The aides were fantastic and went above and beyond. Extra thanks to the nurses and administration for how smooth things run and going above in caring for the residents I would recommend Vilas to anyone needing help with their aging loved ones.
