Saint Elizabeth GREEN HOUSE® Homes, which opened in 2017, introduced an innovative nursing home concept to Rhode Island. The four houses are each home to twelve residents with private bedrooms and bathrooms. Shared community spaces include a dining room, hearth room, den, porches, and patio, combining the comfort of a home with state-of-the-art nursing care amenities.
Saint Elizabeth Home is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a history dating back to 1882. The facility relocated to its current East Greenwich location in 2001 from its original Providence site. Hospice care is provided through specially trained staff in partnership with outside hospice providers.
