Saint Elizabeth GREEN HOUSE® Home

Saint Elizabeth GREEN HOUSE® Home is a nursing care community in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, offering skilled nursing care in a small-home model. The community opened in 2017 and consists of four separate GREEN HOUSE® Homes, each housing 12 residents, located on a cul-de-sac adjacent to Saint Elizabeth Home.

Care is provided by specially trained certified nursing assistants called Shahbazim, who serve as the primary caregivers and engage residents in daily activities. The Shahbazim also handle cooking and laundry duties while interacting with residents. Registered Nurses administer medications, provide nursing treatments, and build relationships with both residents and the caregiving team.

The community operates under a collaborative care model in which nursing, social work, and culinary professionals work together to provide optimal care. A designated Guide leads teamwork across all GREEN HOUSE® Homes staff to ensure coordinated support. Saint Elizabeth Community is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
