My sweet dad had to be moved to this facility recently. Meia is an absolute gem of a person. Very few people in her position can manage a facility with excellence plus express care and concern for the family members who had to make this difficult decision. Her daily joy is contagious even though her job is difficult in so many ways. With any concerns I had, she always listened, treated me with respect, resolved the issue swiftly, and communicated back to me with an update.<br><br>Words can’t express how thankful I have been with this facility and all the workers who are super kind and extremely patient with those they serve.<br><br>Brenda, one of the nurses, is spectacular as well. She too became like family. Very appreciative of the constant communication and support.<br><br>I know the Lord used each of these people, including the wonderful receptionists, to remind me that my dad was being taking care of well when I couldn’t be there for him 24/7. The care they all provided my dad, my family, friends and me during this time was a blessing.<br>Thank you!

Recently our family has had to make the very difficult and emotional decision to move our mom to a memory care facility. We were pleased to discover Runk & Pratt at Forest and began the admitting process. Unfortunately, there are two very negative reviews posted that disturbed us. We texted Patrick and we received a phone call back within minutes from Alicia. We expressed our concerns and she explained to us that these were from two disgruntled employees who both were terminated. She spent close to an hour speaking with us on a Friday night at 8:15 pm answering our questions without reservation and confirming the quality, the care and professionalism of the staff. We are so grateful for this clarification as we feel assured and blessed that our mom will be in a healthy, safe, clean and beautiful facility. Thank you Alicia and thank you Runk & Pratt at forest.

My Girlfriend has her mother in this facility, has been there for 6 years. Every time we go over there there has been things missing,, she pays over 6,000 a month for services here. Since she has been there the LACK of attention to the patients has been HORRIBLE!!!!. The mother's belongings has always disappeared since she arrived, She had very nice stuff, but we had to stop giving her things because of the THEFT going on there. Once we even found some of the missing items in the Employees areas. The head Nurse on duty at the time had a bad attitude, and seemed to act like we were bothering her with our troubles. Nothing was even done about the items being in the Employee area.<br>Another time when we visited the was something wrong with her mother, we mentioned it to the ladies that were in the room at the time and they said she would be ok, after they left we kept noticing that something was still wrong with her and checked her out ourselves, upon our inspection we found what was wrong and if it hadn't been for our persistent in the welfare of her she would have choked to death. I would advise anyone that is going to spend so MUCH money for the care of their loved one to reconsider placing them in ANY of their Facilities!!!!!<br>These are also the people that own the Bella Rose Plantation Treehouse in Lynchburg, VA.
