Nice clean friendly facility

The facility itself is lovely on the inside as are the tenants. However, the management has zero interest in resolving conflicts or accommodating residents and visitors. My grandmother has lived in this building for over 10 years. As she has aged, so has my mother who is a nurse and her primary caregiver. My grandmother has been very ill recently and in an effort to avoid hospitalization, my mother stayed overnight ONE evening last week. The following morning when it was literally FREEZING outside with ice warnings and crashes all throughout the Tri-State, the maintenance man called her unit at 8am and instructed my mother to move her vehicle immediately. Nevermind she has a handicap placard and is disabled herself. When I phoned and requested a callback - NOTHING. Turns out they informed my grandmother of this new “parking rule” in writing that very same DAY. Just because you have a name tag and a little bit of authority does not mean you are entitled to be disrespectful nor are you above the law. The manor is supposedly run by a Catholic institution but their holier-than-thou approach to caring for seniors is ANYthing but Christ-like.

Administration has been made aware of a situation that is causing fear and discomfort to their residents. They have refused to act, and have caused my grandmother undue stress. A petition was signed by residents and an attorney, and that too has been ignored.

This is a nice retirement living space. It allows the tenants to have all their freedoms of living alone but gives them plenty of opportunity to socialize with others.
