Rosewood Assisted was a GOD send to my family at a difficult time. My mother had suffered several strokes, diabetic coma, and early onset dementia in which I cared for her three years alone. Rosewood took my mother in and cared for her as their own for three years until her passing this past April. She wasn't eligible for Medicaid and they worked with us as self pay. My mother loved Rosewood dearly. Mandy (director) was so patient and attentive with Mom even on her worse days of dementia. Several times the staff would help her clean and organize her room because she would hoard. I was even brought in while Mom was away to get some of her personal valuables so they wouldn't get lost or stolen. Hannah (assistant) took time to sit with Mom doing puzzles just days before she passed. Mom came home from NMMC with knots in her hair because of the nurses didn't take time to comb it at all. But a Rosewood aide watched TV with her while they combed the knots out of her hair when she came home. They even braided it for her appointment the next day. She was so pretty and felt good about herself. That was a week before her passing. Tawànna (meds nurse) and other staff always kept me informed of her needs and any new symptoms that were of concern. I couldn't have asked for a better facility for mother. She made decision to be "home" for hospice at Rosewood. The staff made sure the family could be with her even during COVID. We were allowed to stay with her for days until her passing. Mandy, Tawànna, and the entire staff mourned with us. Mandy even stayed late and fed the family dinner. The staff at Rosewood is phenomenal. From the director to cafeteria staff who made sure every family member had something or snacks in those last days. They went above and beyond their duty to keep her as comfortable as possible so she was peaceful in the end. Hospice care was just as comforting and was so attentive to our questions and concerns. Rosewood is family to us and to my mother. We were blessed to have found them and Mom was blessed to have found a home that gave her sense of independence until the very end. We love the staff who make Rosewood a home for the residents.

My husband’s grandmother and my aunt were both at Rosewood until they passed away. My mother-in-law now resides there. My mother-in-law has dementia, a very difficult disease to deal with for families. This facility came through and helped us out with Nana. Patients with dementia are probably some of the hardest to deal with because their attitudes and personalities change daily. Mandy and the staff always listen to our concerns and were always willing to help out with whatever was needed for her. There is so many good hearted people that are VERY concerned with the well-being of the all the residents there. They call anytime they have a concern regarding her care, day or night. They don’t leave anything to chance or guess. They love there residents with all their heart and go way above and beyond to make sure the facility is clean and handled with care. Residents and staff always have a smile on their face and enjoy being around each other in everything they do inside the facility including their activities. Rosewood is an excellent place.

My 94 yr old grandmother has been at Rosewood for almost 2 years....the place is just so homey.....they genuinely care for each resident as if they were family. The place is clean....they have activities daily to encourage the residents to be active. My grandmother is a VERY picky eater and if she doesn't eat what is cooked at a certain meal, they go out of their way to make her something that she will eat. Our family feels completely secure in my grandmother being at Rosewood....its the next best thing to home!

Rosewood is an excellent place. They love there residents with all their heart. They go above and beyond to make sure the facility is clean and handled with care. Mandy the administrator has a wonderful passion for her residents. She has a big heart and goes out of her way to make sure they are well taken care of. They have a wonderful staff who takes well care of their patients to make sure they are bathed and fed. There is not a day that I have ever been there that I have seen a resident unhappy. They always have a smile on their face and enjoy everything they do inside the facility including their activities. Hannah the assistant to Mandy goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is doing their jobs and that the facility stays clean as well. The staff is amazing there. I highly recommend them for the care of your loved ones.

My Dad has been at Rosewood since January. As he has declined cognitively, he has presented more of a challenge to them. All of the staff has risen to the occasion and has consistently responded to him with respect and dignity. They have been creative in helping him get through the days with as little anxiety as possible (without simply medicating him). Mandy provides excellent leadership for the staff. I am very pleased with the care that my dad is receiving and would not hesitate to recommend Rosewood.
