My sister was placed in this facility with the beginnings of dementia. She is a diabetic/hypertensive/ with lower extremity vascular disease. She was admitted to hospital with maggots on her feet. This facility is 150 miles away from me. It is very clean and they treat the residents very well. I am very happy with her care and being able to attend updates re her care and needs by telephone. They inform me of any bruises she gets and any concerns they have. I feel this is a good all around facility to place your loved one who needs 24 hour care. Re: Lora Huckabay.

I’ve been trying to check on my uncle and have encountered ongoing issues reaching someone by phone. Earlier, I was placed on hold and then disconnected. This evening, I called several times — either no one answered, or when someone did, there was only silence before the call disconnected. This situation is very concerning. Who is answering the phones, and what exactly is going on? If this continues, I’ll need to come in person to ensure everything is okay and to understand if there are staffing shortages or other issues impacting communication. I would appreciate a prompt response.
