This facility is considered the best and Medicare is accepted. It took sometime for me to adjust. They have mostly rooms for two patients. The doctors will welcome you but you will not see them walking around or with a patient often. Yes it’s a decent rehabilitation centre. The employees are not always attentive but the longer one stays it changes to some degree since you are familiar nevertheless you get great care. The nurses are a different breed. They cary themselves with class and the majority of them will take care of you well and go out of their way performing odd jobs to help you out. They will provide your medication you have been taking at home. They are pretty fair providing pain medicine. They will prescribe meds if needed upon leaving. They will look out for you getting you help from the insurances. They provide transportation to your doctor. Outside doctors are not allowed to visit their patients. They have also a beauty salon. The establishment is clean and you are provided with all necessaries. Snacks available and soft drinks. They are very generous. They provide you with copies of their menus where you choose from two entrees. Then you have choices for side dishes, desserts and drinks. The kitchen is great. Presently if you have to pay out of pocket their daily fee is reasonable. Joined there are other buildings, decorated well. It’s assisting living and independent living. Now these two groups live as royalty. My pictures speak for themselves. I like to add today checking out I was pleasantly surprised when my suit cases were transferred to my car by an attendant. One of the supervisors came to oversee I am being taken off and to help if it’s needed. I felt I was leaving a high end hotel who not only helped me heal but feeling a little sad because through their care and kindness I felt I was leaving family. Update: 6-24-2025 Starting March of 2025 I started getting monthly bills of $1,035. I ignored them considering the Insurance was liable for my stay. On May 22,2025 I was operated on my femur. Upon release I chose this Institution for physical recovery. I was refused. On the telephone I was told of the money I owed. After I disputed I never heard from them again. Personally I strongly feel I should had been welcomed. I see it as cruelty. I was an injured human being

My father went to rehab in Patriot's Colony in 2016. He broke his hip at age 92 and after surgery went here. The PT staff was wonderful and he bonded well with a young man there who gave him great care. When moving Dad home, he left behind a brand new pair of shoes especially purchased for support and slip on. We called within the day, and his new shoes were missing. Never found, never returned. This was disappointing given the care he received. Just be aware anything left behind may be taken. Hard to get over this given they were new.

Patriots Colony truly lives up to its label as a continuing care community. The care provided by all the staff is superb and the community/fellowship of residents makes living here like being with family (but without having to clean up after them or feed them!)

We moved to Patriots Colony in April 2021and haven’t regretted our move. The staff are wonderful and our fellow Residents make it feel like living with family. There are plenty of activities and things to do either on your own or in a group. The facilities are excellent, but it is the people -Residents and Staff that make it special and stand out. The peace of mind that living here affords us and our children is the reason we came, truly worry free with the right amount of assistance when needed.

Patriots Colony is the ideal place for seniors to live! There are so many amenities - gym, pool, delicious food, fantastic staff who really care, an on-site bank, on-site wellness center, beauty parlor, many social activities, sports, and everything we could possibly need or want ... right here. It's no wonder they call it "Patriots Cruise." The nice part is that we don't have to think about it ending and our having to go home - we are home!!
