I went by to visit my father in the Lord. I have not been here since the early '90's at which time it was under the name Avalon Place. I was impressed with the appearance outwardly, the measure of security, and the awesome host at the door greeting both visitors and residents. The young man gave me specific directions which I was able to follow to get registered to visit and to get to the room I was visiting. It was lunch time and the young lady who brought the meal in was very kind, polite and courteous. I had a great visit.

My father was left sitting in a wheelchair for days in his room without being moved or properly cared for. On top of that, he was overdosed multiple times and had to be revived with Narcan five times in a single week. This is beyond negligence—it is abuse. The facility left him bruised, weak, and humiliated. Families deserve to know this is how River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare & Rehabilitation treats people. I am reporting this to the state and providing photo and video evidence.

My mother was only here 6 months but the treatment she recieved was way better than I could have imagined. From the moment we walked in the first day, the people was so sweet, welcoming and the place was clean. It obvious they care about their patients knowing everyone by name. I have watched major repairs and updates to the facility just improving it. I can't say enough good things about Riverpointe, its not your typical nursing home. Its a HOME for your loved one.
