Great place to have your loved ones! The staff are great, and very accommodating. They take what you say to heart, and if they don't know an answer to your question they will got back with you on it.

My dad was at River Oaks after a hospitalization. I feared the dreaded ‘nursing home’ experience. Thankfully, I was surprised at the care River Oaks provided. The facility and furnishings were a little dated. For example, the recline function of the chair in his room did not work and the bed’s mattress was very thin. After asking about these issues, the next day, ROhad replaced his mattress and put in a work order for the chair. More important than the fixtures to me, however, was the dedication and cheerfulness of every employee. Some standouts were Amanda, Aubrealla, and the head kitchen guy (Timmy? Teddy? Tommy?) Anyway, he kept seeing my dad’s plate coming back with food on it, so he stopped by the room to ask about his favorites. He made Dad chicken tenders several days, even when that was not on the menu. Also, i noticed that the long-term residents were bright-eyed and engaged in activities. The medical director, Dr. Finch, and his nurse spent a surprising amount of time with Dad, too. He answered all of our questions patiently. This was a good experience.

Do not believe the fake good reviews. This place was going to let my Mom die. They told me I should call family to let them know. No blood test or anything. This was after 2 weeks! An Agency nurse came in to work and called an ambulance. She was in ICU for several days and a total of 14 days in the hospital. The hospital staff could not believe the neglect. The hospital saved her life and needless to say, she didn’t go back.

All the nurses staff there are all great. They all know their jobs and how to do the to perfection. This is my second stay at this place for knee surgery I can say the staff are caring for you all the time you are here you get attached to some of the and then you have to go have to home but I love. Them all during my stay and I can only can say if I could only say only thing to all the keep up the great work I know sometimes It’s hard but just remember when the win come up smile it’s a new day.

It's a horrible place! At the present time you are required to mask up before entering (which I don't have an issue with, I think it's a good thing. ) . However even with a mask as I entered the building I was hit with a nasty smell. It's a dark and uninviting environment. I am disappointed my nephews would ever pick this place for their mother. It was around 9:30 am on a Sunday most of the patients didn't even have their hair combed my sister's bed was still unmade and the blankets looked like they were in need of a good cleaning. They told me what room was hers and the patient in the room they sent me to had to let me know where her real room was.
