Update: July 31, 2026; My Mom received an email from Right at Home that this location is shutting down operations at the end of August 2026. She isn't happy about this situation as she just started the service in May 2026. This is her 3rd company. Apparently, there are other franchise locations that may pick her up. This Medicaid situation Trump is doing is hurting Seniors that need this service! My Mom pays out of pocket for her caregiver, but many Seniors on Medicaid aren't as lucky to have the $$$ to pay for services. Unfortunately, many businesses are closing down thanks to Trump cutting Medicaid to pay the tax cuts for the rich!!!!!<br><br>----------------------------------<br><br>Okay, now we have a few months into the service that my Mom has had with Right at Home. Will give my opinion on the company and it's service. Little history here for context. My Mom had one service provider for 3 years, but it had to change it's business model due to their insurance carrier increasing rates too high to provide transportation service for clients. And my Mom's former care giver is now her B.G.F. (Best Girl Friend). So, my Mom went to another service provider (name withheld) that over promised and under delivered badly and had to get rid of them in less than 2 weeks! With that said.<br><br>Right at Home was found through my Mom's former care giver because some folks can't deal with an old cantankerous veteran like myself. Lol. Anywho, the intake process was professional and cordial from my understanding. My Mom's schedule is Monday and Wednesday for service at 3 hours intervals. She is happy with one care giver on those two days, but on extra days she gets one care giver that is a "character" as my Mom puts it. Lol. Unfortunately, being a disabled veteran with poor health can't help my Mom like I used too. So, we needed a good service provider for my Mom's appointments and various task. Hopefully Right at Home will be consistent in the near future that my Mom is still on earth. Will update in the future.

Lucas ensured we were able to get the right caregiver for a parent after a hospital stay. Joyce was patient and kind and committed. We appreciate all she has done for our family.
