Of the 9 nursing homes I've been in since my stroke this by far the best! Therapy and Restorative were awesome. Therapy got me my first custom wheelchair. Amber from Therapy is one of a kind. Carla in Restorative was helping me do sit to stands with her help 5 days a week. I met some wonderful friends in this place the 10 months I was there and deeply regret ever leaving.

Do NOT send your family there for anything. My husband went there for rehab following an illness. We were limited on money and they were reasonably pricedb I thought at the time, with decent reviews. When my husband left the hospital, he was medically cleared and only needed strength building. Within 1 week, he was readmitted to the hospital and placed in ICU. Not only was his surgical site not cared for, he had not 1 but 2 infections. They were notified of a problem 3 days prior and nothing was done for him. He had to have another surgery and is still fighting the blood infection he left there with. Not to mention the condition I found him in his last day there. He was a fall risk but was left in slippery socks in a chair with his lunch tray across the room well out of reach. He has 2 nephrostomy bags that were laying on the floor, one underneath his foot. The straps to those bags were left in the bathroom, with the lights off, in a place where he would have tripped on them had he tried to get to the toilet. He was having rigors due to the level of infection in his system and it was a debate about calling EMTs. This was the worst. Within 3 days, his clothes started to disappear, I was told by 3 aides that they were not allowed to reheat residents food, which means cold dinners, and the attention of aides is minimal if any. They were nice and friendly talking to us, especially when we paid them. However, I took my husband out and refused to allow him back even though I paid them for 2 days he did not stay there or receive any services from them. This was not what I expected from someplace calling itself "skilled nursing" because my husband's wounds were not cared for properly and he is back in the hospital because he wasn't treated medically well. I do not recommend them at all. I ONLY hit 1 star because I can't give zero or negative 10
