This is an unbiased review. I had admitted my mom to memory care back in March. My mom required a lot of care and was an insulin dependent diabetic and took psych meds for her depression. The first night my mom was there I found out they were only giving her one of her prescription meds at night. She was supposed to take psych meds which I indicated in the medication list but they only gave her med for neuropsthy the first night. I had to call the nurse and clarify her med schedule even though I had already indicated the schedule when they were admitting her. A week after being admitted she had fallen and scraped her arm really bad. I had come to visit and apparently the fall had happened several hours before i came but I was never notified. They never sent her to the ED to get evaluated for a break. Also there were several occasions I came to visit her and her brief was soiled. My mom was at the end stage of her dementia and stopped eating and drinking 2 weeks after being admitted there. I had to admit her to Hospice. I feel like the staff was compassionate toward her but not equipped to care for her. Her blood sugars were constantly in the high 200s or low 300s and sometimes they were crashing and going low because they gave her insulin even when she hadn't eaten her meal.

As a Senior Relocation Specialist, I had the pleasure of touring a family member for a beloved daughter in the hopes of finding a forever home whereby the needs of the potential resident would be taken seriously. Upon meeting Carl I could assess his quick ability to discern the needs necessary from beginning to end. I also met Ginny who both are in the marketing department and can say with my over 25 years experience, I witnessed real sincerity for caring about others, the desire to accommodate special needs and concerns and I would commend the owners for leading from a humanitarian aspect as well as demonstrating their knowledge in understating what people desire. This makes perfect business sense to me and I highly recommend visiting Scottsdale Village Square soon. It all starts from the top. Nothing better than a company with a new focus and zeal for the care of others! Check it out folks! Carmen Ruiz Lideen Step By Step Senior Solutions, LLC

Amy mother has done very well at this facility in the behavioral side. Staff seem accommodating and the Hospitalist is very good. All places have staff up and downs. Elisa the speech therapist has been the best ever. It is never easy to leave a loved one in care of others but they seem to have staff that care and know the clients.

I’ve been having a tough time since mom passed. Before her passing, we were looking for a facility. The sweetest, nicest woman was so kind and polite on the phone. I believe her name was Miah? Oh no Mia!! I really enjoyed our conversation and her empathy and compassion during this tough time. Thank you, Mia.

Stay far away from this place from the blantant misleading of what to expect to the unhealthy conditions. I moved my parent in under the understanding that we did not need to give a notice per Gregory. My parents both with dementia did not do well and I I spoke with the Administrator that knew what the plan was to get them moved ASAP again no conversation that we needed a notice. I then recieve an email that we owe 7k. Check these pictures out. I will stand on this until my last breath that this place is the worst possible place to have any loved one stay!!
