My ex spouse was sent there a week ago and when my family members and myself went there we were horrified at what we saw. It was like walking into a crypt. Depressing old and outdated everything. He received little to no care for the time he was there. Within the 24 hours he was there he declined tremendously. We were so blessed and fortunate to get him out of there quickly. Please do not send a loved one to this place because the level of care is deplorable.

My dad was a patient At Regalcare for two years. And those two years we have seen lots of staff come and go some very caring, some completely negligent. Some of the staff did not speak English what makes it very hard for our elderly family to be able to feel comfortable with their concerns. When it came time for my dad to get Hospice, Hospice did not pay any more attention than the regular staff. I expressed my concerns several times and I had to get my own Hospice service.. I received a phone call one day that my dad needed oxygen and the time I got to the facility my dad passed right before my eyes. The nurse that was taken care of him and showed me compassion, but None of the nurses had any idea what happened and really didn’t know what to say to me. The doctor on the floor that has been there for a few years, came in and was very uncompassionate. He told me these things happen and he shrugged his shoulders . He couldn’t remember my name or my dad’s or even what condition that he had.. I’ve never seen such a compassionate doctor working at a Elderly facility. They gave me the death certificate with the wrong cause of death. It took me five days to contact them and get it switched. It was such a traumatic experience. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Kate is great as well as the rest of that! Physical therapy and occupational therapy we're very helpful! Nursing that was awesome! And did you enjoy my stay here! And we'll miss them!

My loved one with dementia was brought to Regal after a fall to get intensive physical therapy and regain some stability but instead over the course of just a couple months became completely immobile because of lack of activity. He went from independent walking for 2+ miles per day in late November to fully bed bound and in severe pain by March. Staff were overworked and burned out, scarcely available for questions, often didn't respond to patient needs like toileting, were unable to provide updates or information on medication administration, and generally had an air of apathy toward wellbeing. Some were great but those were few and far between. We're devastated that our attempt to rehabilitate our family member resulted in a medically unusual rapid progression of his decline and an extreme deterioration of his quality of life. I would earnestly advise anyone thinking about this facility to reconsider their options and not trust Regal with their loved ones.

When I first came to Regal I was in a really bad place both physically and mentally. It took a while, but thanks to the persistence and encouragement from a very patient and dedicated staff, I have been able to complete my recovery and am on my way home much healthier and happier. You have to put in the work, but the staff here will help you the whole way. I would recommend them to anyone.
