This place needs shut down! My sister was taken twice by ambulance from there due to their neglect and abuse! The staff is rude and ignorant and got an attitude of you asked questions! The place is a hellhole that I wouldn't put someone in even if I didn't like them! Then to try to get your loved one out is impossible! This has been an ordeal that has lasted almost 2 months ending in my sister's final discharge from mercy hospital with only weeks to live. Stay clear of this place!

First of all if your insurance can place you somewhere else, dont hesitate. This is an old building. All the patients DO NOT have seperate floors or sections. Patients were in hallways just roaming and sometimes asked me for help. My mom was in there for rehab and she was put on a floor and roomed with permanent residents, long term, short term or rehab care. Her roommates had the tv on 24 hours a day. Very loud. Needless to say my mom hardly got any sleep. The bathroom was not available at times and my mom had to be taken to other patients bathrooms to use the toilet. Her first bed didnt have a footboard and i cut my leg on the bolt sticking out of it. The other room she stayed in had a hole in the wall and her roomate had a overflowing personal items in boxes and bins. Nursing care was just adequate. Some nurses were more CARING than others. Came to visit my mom and came upon a nurse in the hall that was asleep at her station. Her co-worker slapped her leg when she saw me to alert her to wake up. Physical therapy department was good. House keeping was pretty decent. My mom's was in there for 10 days. I tried to get her out of the there but there wasn't any beds anywhere else to transfer.

I wasn’t going to share because this has been a personal struggle for my mom. Im sure no one ever wants to go to a nursing home. My mom gave up her apartment, her things, her comfy chair, her chicken pot pies. I go when I can because I love my mom so dearly. I know when I’m not there she is taken care of. Is it perfect? No- but show me one place that is. If I have an issue, I as her advocate, address and it is attended to. Wendy has been wonderful! I get called if there is an emergency. Please- unless a place is just truly awful don’t say unkind things. I have grown to love the staff at Reformed!

Unfortunately, my aunt has been to many similar facilities and this by far has been the worse. The staff were some of the rudest I have ever encountered. You know they really don't care when they act that way in front of the family. I spoke to Wendy the social worker and expressed concern about the staff and she down played it completely. That facility is trash, the entire building smells horrible. Do not take your love one's there please.

My experience has been great for my aunt in rehab , Gerald the nurse Shantell the nurse and Joe the occupational therapist are all very professional and seem to go above and beyond, I have a meeting with Wendy tomorrow and she seems very knowledgeable and professional. They all have an extremely hard job and all do it well. Thank you for taking care of my Aunt Eileen Conley.
