I had placed several calls to this office over a period of 3 weeks and left messages as requested but got no response. I decided to go to the office in person ( it is local ) and I'm so glad I did. I told them about my phone experience and they assured me that the phone issue had been resolved. ( It was due to staffing ) They were very apologetic, attentive and professional. They listened to my concerns and questions and immediately set a plan in motion. They also offer solutions for other situations should they arise. I must say they offer many services. Well thought out! I almost gave up on this organization but I'm glad that I didn't! If you know a Senior or family member that is struggling with ANY need, for instance, the inability to maintain a normal routine concerning proper dietary intake, then give them a call. They are there to assist. They explained everything about what could be done and they made it easy to understand. I highly recommend this organization. Just give them a call. Before I started Lung cancer treatments with Radiation I asked to receive Meals on wheels, 2 other people get them in my area, Lady said she would check. After 3 Rd call I made I give up and asked for prayer for that association....

I needed help with picking a Medicare plan part D and medicaid. They have the most wonderful people there to explain everything in a simple, common sense way, and Lisa, who coordinates the SHIP program, part of the NC, SMP program, Empowering Seniors To Prevent Health Care Fraud, was so incredibly helpful, patient, friendly and followed up to make sure everything worked out OK. The Senior Center Itself has so many educational and enrichment programs available and such caring staff. If you're a senior, I HIGHLY recommend checking them out!

If you are a senior or caring for one utilize and spread the word, this place is great. They have so many services and are so very helpful. This is a hidden gem/resource in our community. I can't say enouph about how helpful they have been each and everytime I have been here for my mom.

We used the dining space to provide a meal & companionship for a family after the memorial service of the husband/father. It was more than adequate size, and we were able to handle the food safely. Think about this space next time you host an event.
