I am extremely disappointed with the care and treatment my grandfather and our family received at this nursing home while he was there long term and ultimately on hospice.

My grandfather was bedbound, had a bedsore, and was nearing the end of his life. As his family, we were simply trying to advocate for his comfort and dignity. I left a polite note in his room asking that briefs not be used because of his condition and the bedsore. Rather than having a respectful conversation with our family about the request, the director of nursing Miranda personally called me to tell me that they could not accommodate it. The way the situation was handled felt incredibly dismissive and disrespectful.

What made the experience even more upsetting was the way the director Miranda treated my aunt while my grandfather was in hospice and actively dying. No family should have to deal with rudeness or hostility from the person in charge during such an incredibly painful and vulnerable time.

We understand that nursing homes have policies, staffing limitations, and things they may not be able to accommodate. What we expected was compassion, communication, respect, and dignity, especially for someone who was at the end of his life.

Our family will never forget how this experience made an already heartbreaking situation even harder. Families trust nursing homes with their loved ones when they can no longer care for them themselves. That trust should be taken seriously.

I sincerely hope the facility takes this feedback to heart and considers how families and hospice patients are treated during their most vulnerable moments.

My mother is a long term resident at Quail Haven Village in the skilled side. The staff are very attentive to my mothers needs and the atmosphere is always upbeat and friendly. The facility is always clean and neat. Good communication received from the nursing staff, very informative. Would recommend highly.

Finding the right assisted living community for a loved one is never an easy decision, but this facility exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this is a place where residents are genuinely cared for, respected, and treated like family.

Kim and her CNA staff are exceptional—professional, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. They take the time to know each resident personally, which creates a warm and reassuring environment. Whether it’s help with daily activities or simply offering a friendly conversation, their kindness truly stands out.

The facility itself is beautifully maintained—clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed to feel more like a home than an institution. The common areas are inviting, the rooms are comfortable, and there’s always something engaging happening. The activities program is especially impressive, offering everything from social gatherings and fitness classes to games and outings that keep residents active and connected.

Dining is another highlight. Meals are well-prepared, nutritious, and varied, with attention given to individual preferences and dietary needs. It’s clear that quality and enjoyment are priorities.

Most importantly, there is a strong sense of safety and peace of mind. Communication with families is excellent, and the staff is always available to answer questions or provide updates.

Overall, this is a truly top-notch assisted living facility. It provides not just care, but dignity, community, and a genuine sense of belonging. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment for their loved one.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Quail Haven Village and I can’t say enough about the exceptional care my dad received there.

Cindy Robinson, the Director of Social Work, was absolutely amazing. She was always responsive to my calls, provided regular updates, and made sure I felt informed and supported every step of the way. Her compassion and professionalism made a difficult time so much easier to navigate.

The entire nursing staff was caring, attentive, and professional. It was clear that my dad was genuinely well cared for, and that meant everything to our family. The facility itself was always clean and well-maintained, which added to our peace of mind.

Cindy went above and beyond by helping me find resources for my dad’s next living arrangement and ensuring a smooth transition so he could continue his physical therapy without interruption.

I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness, dedication, and support we received. I would highly recommend Quail Haven to anyone in need of quality care for a loved one!

Quail Haven was a blessing for the entire several years my mother was there. The Staff is very caring and friendly. They weren't only very good and attentive to my mother, but they showed the same respect to me, as well.
