⭐️ Extremely Disappointed — Serious Concerns About Safety, Cleanliness, and Compassion<br><br>My recent experience at Lotus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was extremely disappointing and honestly very concerning.<br><br>I went to visit my godmother to drop off some personal belongings, and I brought my elderly parents with me. My mother uses a walker, and unfortunately, I accidentally left it at home. I went to the nurses’ station and politely asked if they could lend me a walker or wheelchair so I could safely get my mother to the front entrance. I was not asking for anything unreasonable—just basic assistance to help an elderly woman safely navigate the facility.<br><br>My request was denied.<br><br>As we were leaving, my mother almost fell at the front entrance. Thankfully, my father was able to catch her in time. I cannot stop thinking about what could have happened if he had not been there. An elderly person falling can result in a serious injury, hospitalization, or worse.<br><br>What makes this even more disturbing is the condition of the facility. The main entrance may look and smell pleasant, but once you walk through the corridors, there is a strong odor of urine and fecal matter. This is not something I would expect to encounter in a facility responsible for caring for elderly and vulnerable residents.<br><br>Beyond the physical environment, the lack of kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help was incredibly disappointing. Families who walk through those doors are trusting the facility with people they love. Residents deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion, respect, and genuine care.<br><br>I am sharing this review because I hope management takes it seriously. A nursing facility should not only look presentable at the entrance—it should provide a clean, safe, respectful, and caring environment throughout the entire facility.<br><br>Please do better. Our elderly loved ones deserve better.
