I have found the staff at Professional Home Health to be efficient, caring and compassionate. Sarah Matarese, an administrator, is especially outstanding. She works tirelessly to fulfill a client's needs and has always, in my experience, exhibited a kindness that unfailingly eases the way for clients who are struggling with pain and physical limitations. Other superb staff are Dawn, a home health giver, Terry, a physical therapist, the nurses, Joanne and Jordan. My life has been so much better since I started receiving care from this company.

My recent interaction with Professional Home Health Care felt less like coordinating medical care and more like participating in an unscripted rehearsal for a farce—one where no one received the script, and the stakes were somehow still very real. Sara reached out regarding in-home physical therapy for my mother, which, in theory, is the sort of call that inspires confidence, clarity, and at least a passing familiarity with the patient’s situation. Instead, the conversation unfolded like a live demonstration of how little information one can have while still initiating contact. Key details—such as the physician’s orders—were treated more as philosophical concepts than actionable documents. Attempting to bring order to the moment, I offered a practical solution: loop in the referring physician’s office and resolve the confusion in real time. This was met not with relief, but with a declaration of discomfort at the idea of a conference call—apparently a bridge too far in the modern telecommunications era. I was then gently reassigned the role of case manager, tasked with sorting everything out myself and reporting back, as though this were a group project I didn’t realize I’d been assigned. To her credit, there was at least one consistent background element throughout the call: a dog barking with admirable persistence. It added a certain ambiance—less “clinical coordination,” more “working from a living room during a mild canine uprising.” In summary, the experience was a layered exercise in lowered expectations. If you’re seeking structured, competent coordination of in-home health services, this may not be your destination. However, if your needs lean more toward ambient chaos with a side of unsolicited pet acoustics, you may find the experience… memorable.

This company is anything but professional. They are incredibly disorganized, terrible at communication and extremely rude. Props to Nurse Joletta for being the rudest and most unprofessional of them all. I highly recommend avoiding this company and seeking care elsewhere.
