I want to preface and say that first impressions are not everything. Although the Prescott House rehab facility is an older building and certainly lacks aesthetics, it most certainly makes up in it's skilled staff. My father spent a month there recently. This had not been my father's first time ther, He had been there several years ago. My family and I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they had done for him. We are very involved in my father's care. My mother visited him on a daily basis and I several times a week, specifically in the evenings. The care and compassion in which my father was treated with the utmost respect while he was there was outstanding. I would see recognizable staff every time I went in, asked the nurses that were treating my father for the shift for a small report. There was never any hesitation, information was thorough. My questions were answered and if not I was given direction on who to contact. And although there is an obvious staff shortage, these folks work very hard and we were very patient in working with them. We expressed what our needs and concerns were and staff listened and took action. Many thanks to the OT and PT department, CNAS, nursing staff and housekeeping. I can't remember all their names but special thanks to Irma who is truly the golden star of that facility, James, David, Sam and Gloria. Just to mention some of the nursing staff. With much gratitude, thank you again.
