Her Dementia had gotten very bad . She was in sever pain from several problems. Thanks to the resident doctor ,he started a treatment for the dementia shortly after she got there and she has improved almost back to normal . She doesn't complain about pain anymore. Even though she takes less pain medication.<br>The people there are great. Every time I have visited I have been very impressed with the staff . Was very happy with what I saw. Crappy staff and crappy nurses. They are negligent to patients at night and people go days without medication.

Recently moved a relative from this community to a much more friendly and caring location in Texas. Experience at Pleasanton North was far less than stellar. While there, the family member/resident’s health declined to include a fall resulting in surgical repair of a hip. In addition, the 6’2” resident was placed in an ill fitting wheelchair and atrophy was exacerbated. There is little to no social interaction during the day with little to no mental stimulation so vitally important to dementia residents. In addition, although symptoms were observed, it was confirmed after the move that the resident was being overmedicated beyond necessary to the point of little or no communications and lethargic to the point of requiring help with eating. At the new location, self feeding and social interaction is common throughout the day and now with far less medication. I’d highly recommend avoiding this place based on our family’s experience.
