My mother has lived at Pleasant Point since March of 2026, and this is the perfect facility for her! Her room is exceptionally nice and has character, she enjoys the meals, and she has already made friends. There is a wide variety of activities coordinated daily. The Activities Director, Jennifer, has gone out of her way to get my mom to participate, and now my mom genuinely looks forward to socializing.

As tough as this transition was, Christine, the Family Advisor and Admissions Director of the facility, was instrumental in the entire process. She answered all our questions, comforted my mom during the initial tour, introduced her to residents, and always called me if there was something I should be aware of. She truly went above and beyond to provide the guidance and support we needed.

I have also watched my mom develop such sweet relationships with some caregivers. They are always upbeat, empathetic when she has a bad day, and they even affectionately call her “Beautiful.” Because I visit often, I can see that the staff is kind and welcoming to visitors as well. The absolute best part is that my mom now calls her room at Pleasant Point “home!” I didn’t know if that day would come, but it gives me immense peace of mind!
