My mother has lived at Pleasant Point since March of 2026, and this is the perfect facility for her! Her room is exceptionally nice and has character, she enjoys the meals, and she has already made friends. There is a wide variety of activities coordinated daily. The Activities Director, Jennifer, has gone out of her way to get my mom to participate, and now my mom genuinely looks forward to socializing.

As tough as this transition was, Christine, the Family Advisor and Admissions Director of the facility, was instrumental in the entire process. She answered all our questions, comforted my mom during the initial tour, introduced her to residents, and always called me if there was something I should be aware of. She truly went above and beyond to provide the guidance and support we needed.

I have also watched my mom develop such sweet relationships with some caregivers. They are always upbeat, empathetic when she has a bad day, and they even affectionately call her “Beautiful.” Because I visit often, I can see that the staff is kind and welcoming to visitors as well. The absolute best part is that my mom now calls her room at Pleasant Point “home!” I didn’t know if that day would come, but it gives me immense peace of mind!

We put my uncle’s long time partner into Pleasant Point in December of 2025. She passed in April of 2026. She had Alzheimer’s and during her stay, Christine was very accessible and helped with any questions or comments we had. The staff was nice and my uncle loved the food. We didn’t have much to bring into her room so Christine found some extra furniture that we could use which was great. We rented a hospital bed. Christine would go out of her way to visit our loved one and sent pictures of her doing some of the activities. That was very much appreciated. Their health care coordinator, Precious, was very nice and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the care our loved one needed. They had an onsite beauty salon that you could make appointments for haircuts, etc., and it was not expensive. Their maintenance man was great too. If we had an issue, he would fix it and always had a smile on his face and was very nice. It was a little expensive, but that was because of the kind of care our loved one needed. One thing we had an issue with was not being able to use the shower due to no hot water. We were told that the water issue was in the process of being fixed.

I found this place myself. I didn't find the services helpful. I have been working with Christine. She's in charge of the place. I love this place as it is smaller and has all the services I might need in the future. I was able to see the room and even do measurements to see how my stuff would fit. I live in an apartment now with a lease. I decided to wait until I need more help doing things before I make the jump. I also wanted to pick a place so my family knows where to send me when the time comes. Christine has gone above and beyond answering questions and making me comfortable with my decision

Our mother lived there for 2.5 months prior to her passing. The staff was kind and understanding when it came to my mother’s needs. If there was a concern with medication or staff it was addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. This was my mother’s second senior facility and we wish that we had found this place first!

My mom moved into Pleasant Point five months ago. From the very start, Christine has gone out of her way to help. She was very instrumental in helping my mom adjust to her new “home”. The staff have also been so kind. Kelly, who cleans my mom’s room is always willing to visit with her. Shauna does the activities there, plus other things I’m sure I’m not aware of, is consistently joyful with the residents.
Transitioning a loved one into someone else’s daily is hard, but I can attest to the fact that Pleasant Point and the staff have made this so much easier. I’m grateful for my mom’s experience in her new “home”.
