My mom lived in Anoka for 60 + years, and chose to live at Vivie when she could no longer live on her own in her own home. For 5 years she enjoyed the benefits of living downtown Anoka at Vivie. Staff and residents at Vivie are just wonderful and I give Vivie a big "thumps up" for all the love and care my mom received. Mom especially loved the October-fest party, so I attached a picture.

I've had a family member at Walker Plaza for 6 years (1 year at Cityview, 5 years at Gardens). The facility is clean and well maintained, the nursing staff is responsive, and there are many activities to choose from. I have found the current management to be very good at responding to and addressing issues. No place is perfect and this is an industry with constant workplace shortages, but I've had family members in several assisted living facilities in the area, and Walker is the only one of those that I would recommend.

They leave my family member in their soiled diaper for almost 2 hours every time. My family member has to scream to get them to come but they ignore her because she can be difficult. She is a vulnerable adult and they mistreat her.
