Check out their website where they claim to be caring and want the best for the elderly. All lies! My family member is in their Whittier, CA facility, which by the way has a lot of lies on their website as well about what is provided. My family member hasn’t even been there a year and there’s already a new director, apparently she is the 3rd or 4th one in about two years. I’m thinking about contacting an elder law lawyer and asking about a class action suit for the residents who are a combination of disabled and elderly people. There are no activities aside from bingo because they have no activities director now. They are very short staffed in caregiving, daily trash removal, and housekeeping, which by the way has not been done in two weeks now. I could go on and on. I don’t blame the new director. She can’t make people take jobs and she’s already running around like a chicken with her head cut off. A few weeks ago she was the med tech as well because they had no one! Is this how you care about the elderly Pinnacle Senior Living?????? I’ve filed a compliance complaint AND a complaint with an ombudsman in CA which is where the facility is located. I’d bet my paycheck not one person from Pinnacle Senior Living has even stepped foot in the place in years!!!! I have an MS in Gerontology Administration and this is NOT how you treat the disabled and elderly. Every high level executive in PSL should be ashamed. Not only do you not care about the residents…you don’t care about the employees!! I will not stop advocating for my family member and his community until their voices are heard and their living conditions are improved. By the way…get a live person to answer the phone and if you can’t do that at least check your voicemail box since it’s been full for several days now and is not accepting messages!!!! I’d give ZERO stars if I could!
