Pinecrest Retirement Community

Pinecrest Retirement Community is a faith-based, nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Lufkin, Texas, founded in 1992. It is the only faith-based, nonprofit senior living retirement community in the area and serves older adults throughout the Piney Woods region, including Angelina County and East Texas.

The community offers a full continuum of aging services on one campus, including independent living, assisted living, memory support, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation in skilled nursing, and home health services. Residents can choose between apartment living and spacious patio homes tailored to individual preferences.

The Terrace Assisted Living provides support with bathing, dressing, medication management, and other daily activities. Memory support services are staffed by a team equipped with specialized training to work with individuals living with memory loss. Long-term care provides attentive, professional, and compassionate care for those with long-term diagnoses, while short-term rehabilitation helps residents recover and regain independence following surgery, illness, or injury.

For Lufkin residents not yet ready to relocate, Pinecrest offers home health services, bringing quality care to individuals in their own homes. With more than three decades of service to the area, the community brings established expertise to its operations and care delivery.
