During the trick or treating event they put on with the residents this year, My group and I, along with many others witnessed a incident with a resident who dropped there bucket of candy, went to pick it up, fell out of there wheel chair and hit there head, shoulder and hip pretty hard. The worker who was suppose to be with the resident was talking away and not paying any attention, it wasn't until I grabbed his bucket and said he was going to fall, then actually fell down and got hurt before she did something. It was atleast 5 minuets of the resident laying in pain on the ground before they called for assistance for a lift and to get the man back into his chair, after they got him into his chair I heard the workers say they would not call an ambulance or even file an incident report! They believed he did not get hurt at all, mind you this gentleman must of been non verbal as he didnt even make a sound but to try and hold everywhere it was hurting him! And severely confused and had visible tears. I even told the staff along as a few others that witnessed this incident he did indeed get hurt and the main lady who should of stayed with him and was suppose to be helping and taking care, was not paying any attention and didnt even see him fall, till something was being said! They absolutely did not have any care in the world for what had happened and roughly stuck him in his chair and made us go around and a few others and there children and rudely told us to continue or leave. They continued on like nothing even happened while that resident was clearly hurt and in pain crying, but couldn't speak.
