It is a shame that you can't put more stars than 1 but and actually that is more than they deserve!! I had a really close friend from years and years that had no other choice but to end up here because of her insurance which is another sad thing..when I would go see her she was always laying in her bed half covered and uncomfortable..she couldn't move her one side do anything so her arm on that side was down beside the bed swollen not even a pillow...then another time I went she had so much Fluid on her hands ,feet, legs,I told the nurse which was on her phone at the nurses station go figure that's more important than the poor patients..they ended transferring her to Columbia she had pneumonia and infection...then back the this lovely nursing home ..so the last time I was able to see her it was the worst ..the nurse told me she had been gradually get worse the last 4 days okay so why did you wait till then ....the dr came in and said where is her oxygen?? Well you tell me I am not the nurse ...she was so swollen with fluids they couldn't even get her pulse oh maybe we need to get her to the hospital ohhhh really you think so she ended up in Columbia and she had infection and fluid from who knows where it was awful...well she never made it out of there the infection had done spread everywhere and nothing they could do for her so she passed away 5 days being in the hospital!!! So no they are not recommend at all unless you don't care for your loved ones!!!!!!!

My father had been put here for 20 day to rehabilitate so maybe he could learn things to survive at home but they barley even did much and on top that my father has called me crying over and over because he waits over 2 hours to be changed. He tells them price dont take to bathroom just makes him go on himself... his leg is suppose to be changed twice a day and i have kept dates and they changes in one time real late at night. My dad isn't offered anything to help him with pain but tramadol so he sits in pain. My dad fears staying here long team cuz to many people just die after being there. And for them to take all my dad's money and he has Medicare rhat he pays for cuz disability and social security brings to much and i dont see how. He should get Medicare and Medicare. I have been keeping dates and times of situatio s that are inhumane. I worked as a housekeeper in a different state nursing home. AND SEEN PEOPLE DIE FRON JUST WAITING ON THE CALL BUTTON TO BE ANSWERD. SHE MAY NOT OF DIED IF THEY WENT TO BATHROOM WHEN SHE PULLED BUTTThey all make employees lie when the state comes so I just need the physical evidence. I livec3 hours away and can't even see my dad but I DONT WANT HIM TO DIE HERE. THIS PLACE IS not where I want my father. What do u do when u cant afford to move someone thats ur hold world
