So they approved my father in laws to come and then they a week later they denied him even though he had much improvement. All I got was sorry we don’t think we can accommodate him. I’m a PTA and know rehabs bc I work in them. There are people way worse off in short term rehabs and they don’t get denied. Complete BS. I will never refer or recommend this place to anyone.

Moving Dad from the hospital into a new facility was a big, hard decision. We were met with such kindness, professionalism, and expertise every step of the way. Dad and all three daughters are very pleased with his care and the loving environment at Phoebe Richland.

My father, James Petrello was a resident on the short-term rehabilitation unit. The nursing staff was phenomenal with him and I highly recommend this facility for short term rehabilitation!!!

My mom was in Phoebe Richland for 19 days in March & April 2026. The care she received from her direct caregivers was excellent. Kudos to Adam, Suzanne, Leanne, Erin, Heaven and Sharon in PT. Please forgive anyone I may have missed. I was there every day to visit. However, after she decided to go into hospice, the transfer back to her personal care home was extremely upsetting. She was to move on a Tuesday, but late on Monday afternoon, we were informed that transfer could not be done until after 430 pm on Tuesday afternoon, which would prevent her prescriptions from arriving at the home due to closing at 4pm. So transfer was delayed until Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, I received a call from transport company stating that transport would be at 6PM....AFTER 430 pm! So same situation as day before. I had to make several phone calls to hospice and Phoebe to ensure that her med orders would be faxed over and arrive on time. I'm uncertain as to why these simple faxes could not have been sent on Tuesday to allow transfer to take place then instead of delaying until Wednesday. At 4pm, I arrived at Phoebe to make sure my mom was transferred with all her belongings and because I had reassured Mom I would be there. She has a fear of transport, due to past experiences. When I arrived at Phoebe, my mother was GONE ! Already transported. Vital belongings left in her room. I asked the Unit Manager, her med nurse and the Director of Nursing what time she had left and no one knew! While driving to her personal care home, I received a call from the case manager stating they came early to pick her up. I was livid....a phone call to me would have been appreciated. When I arrived at the personal care home, my mother was in tears wondering where I was. She thought she had been kidnapped. It was heartbreaking. Communication is a given in these types of situations. There is no valid explanation as to why this did not happen. Everyone in the facility was aware of how closely I covered my mother's care and how often I was there. Please do better. Your patient's wellbeing depends on it.
