My brother spent nearly one year at LifeQuest Nursing Center and I found the staff compassionate, kind, and they treated my brother with dignity. Their patience, dedication and genuine concern brought comfort to me. His caregivers were all wonderful but I would especially like to recognize Nurse Megan and Nurse Wendy. Their exceptional care, professionalism, and genuine concern for my brother I meant more than I could adequately express. They not only cared for him with skill and kindness, but they also kept me informed and updated which brought peace of mind.

My mother was not given the care a human being deserves. Call bells are ignored. They let the residents sit in soiled clothes. They wouldn’t change her socks every day. Even after we complained they still didn’t do it. I’m one occasion my mom needed to go to the bathroom. I rang the call bell and they never came so I went looking for them. By then my mom had soiled herself. I finally found an aid and told her and she told me that my mom would have to wait until she was done handing out dinners. Total neglect. My Mom ended up passing from heart failure. They pushed the signs of this off as anxiety. When they called me that night telling me her oxygen level was low. They advised me if they call the doctor he would not send her to the hospital. I told them to call 911 immediately and I went up. My Mom died a week later because of their negligence. In reviewing her medications, I found they were not giving her the blood thinner medication she needed each day. I also found they were giving her a medication that caused mortality in elderly patients. We filed a claim with the state against them and we are seriously considering filing a wrongful death lawsuit. Please keep your loved ones out of here. Don’t believe the 5 star reviews, they are employees (we know your names, you are not fooling anyone) 😡

My mom had good care in the Rehabilitation end. But once moved to the permanent side she was neglected. She kept telling them she couldn’t breathe. They chalked it up to anxiety. And at first I can see this but not after months. Her last two weeks I told the nurses something is wrong no one paid attention. She died of congested Heart failure. Her lungs were so full of fluid she drown. The nurses are supposed to be trained to notice symptoms of this disease. She couldn’t hold her head up anymore, and she couldn’t lye flat. All symptoms. They left her on her last Monday there struggling to breathe till my sister and I came in and took her to the Hospital. She died that next Monday.

I wouldn’t put my pet in this skilled nursing facility. The care is abysmal. The help bells are constantly going off and no one responds. My mom rang her bell so frequently and no one came to help, yet there was a “ nurse” at the desk on the computer and an aide filing her nails at the desk. Not only did we move my mom from this facility but the family of the person next door also moved their loved one to another facility. Lastly, a non certified aide attempted to give my mom an injection until I stopped them. Unbelievable.
