My Brother had a massive stoke May of 2025. Belle Terrace accepted my brother through his insurance at the time. The therapy team worked with my brother to see what functions he would be able to get back. Unfortunately his right side is totally paralyzed and has limited function on his left. He’s still at Belle Terrace and will be for the rest of his time. I have to say it’s been more than a year now and my brother seems content and is not being an angry person. I believe thats from the care he is getting at Belle Terrace and how the staff treats him. He has not been sickly which I’m thankful for. The new Administrator has been a godsend to me. She’s has been so helpful with the process getting him approved for programs and has calmed me knowing she is there to help. Our family appreciates all Belle Terrace has been doing for my brother. Thanks to all.

These reviews are lies!! This place isn’t fit for animals to live in let alone humans. My mother in law was here for about 10 days. 1st day I walked in sight unseen (learned a lesson)and had to leave to buy cleaning supplies, this was a recommendation (bc the reviews were great…… obviously lies)from a social worker in the poconos where my MIL was first hospitalized. The smell was horrific, patients were wandering the halls yelling, we were warned of 1 woman who steals peoples belongings. Cleanliness is a ZERO, we had to bring in outside food because that was also gross. There are only a few steady employees, most come from outside agencies and don’t care about the patients. My MIL asked for help with the bathroom and someone told her they’d be back. She was screaming for help and ended up wetting the bed and forced to lay in it for 5 hours until the next shift came in. At this point I had her taken to the hospital because that was the only way (insurance purposes) we could get her into another rehab. Her roommate was constantly ignored by staff when she asked for help and I and my family would do things for her. One day the roommate was banging the window hard with her walker. My MIL was bedridden and was in fear and begging for help, again no one came to help. Medical staff had her on 2 unnecessary laxatives and said it was standard practice, NOPE it absolutely is not. This place has everyone in adult diapers. 1 man came in as a patient and left within hours because of how terrible this place is. If you care about your loved ones, do not place them here. It truly is that bad. Oh and the new administration, the only help I got was getting my MIL to a hospital. Worthless. After reading the 5star reviews, it’s employees.
