I come in weekly for exercise and activities and I wanted to share my experience at this home. It is wonderful! The staff are so kind and always offering me water when I get there and before I go. The residents seem to love it, and they always say the food is excellent. And the importance of care is a top priority. Anca and her team do an incredible job here!

After placing my wife in Pebble Heights years ago, I’m happy to say, it was the best decision I’d ever made on her behalf. She is afflicted with dementia and had taken a fall. She broke several bones and was traumatized. Unable to walk, she was restricted to the wheelchair requiring full time care. Under the dedicated and loving care of Anca Barbur (the owner) and her wonderful staff of professional care givers my wife regained her ability to walk. Four years later she is still mobile with the use of a walker. Anca and her caregivers are truly professional and treat my wife as if she were their child. The amenities are too many to mention. The loving and tender care being provided to all the residents is obvious. The meticulous care in preparing home-cooked meals from scratch, the attention to the clean and spotless environment, the beautifully decorated common areas during holidays, the frequent entertainment provided weekly, the recognition of resident’s birthdays with birthday parties, the comfortable recliner chairs provided for each resident and many more. Thank you Anca.

After visiting 2 other "care homes" before choosing Pebble Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care, in Goodyear, for my husband, I am so extremely happy I made the decision I did. He has been a "family member" at Pebble Heights for 6 months now, and there is nothing but praise and gratitude I can give to the staff and owner (Anca). These are the most caring and attentive professionals I have ever met. The home is spotless and extremely welcoming. Caregivers work together to make everyday the best it can be for each individual member, in the home. As a spouse of one of those family members, I so appreciate everyone of the caregivers and know my husband is in the best hands possible. As I am writing this, I realize, those caregivers have become my "family" now.

Over the past six months, I visited my mother-in-law in Pebble Heights. The owner, Anca, has very high standards for this home and the staff members are absolutely incredible! They are kind, thoughtful, and have meticulous attention to detail. Even when dealing with the challenges associated with my MIL's broken leg and her dementia, they remained patient, warm and caring. I visit a friend in another home and the contrast between the two homes is stark. This place is bright, filled with sunshine, and beautifully decorated. Anca and staff make sure to celebrate special occasions and holidays with the residents and their families, ensuring the residents feel treasured. When a loved one needs more care than can be provided at home, I highly recommend Pebble Heights as their home away from home. I simply can't praise the staff members enough for the dedication and simple kindness they consistently display and how safe they make the residents feel. My MIL was always clean, her skin was moisturized daily, and they even helped her put on makeup. They valued both her physical and emotional well-being. I am grateful beyond words for them.

How our free service works, and how we are paid

Arizona asks us to share this with you in writing before we introduce you to a community.

MyLivingChoice is a free service that helps you find senior living. We are paid by our participating communities: if you move into a community we introduced you to, that community pays us a referral fee. You never pay us anything.

Arizona law requires that we provide you with the following disclosure notice.

We are in the business of referring residents to assisted living facilities and assisted living homes. We will be paid by the assisted living facility or assisted living home if you move into one of the referred assisted living facilities or assisted living homes. The fee we receive from the assisted living facility or assisted living home into which you move typically ranges from 50 to 80 percent of your first month's rent and care charges. We do have a current business relationship but we do not have a common ownership or control in, or any other financial, business, management or familial relationship with, any of the assisted living homes and assisted living facilities to which we are referring you.

By providing us with a written or electronic notice, you have the right to terminate our services to you at any time, including our use of your personal information. If you terminate our services, we will not be entitled to any fee for any move-in you make after the date of the termination notice unless either:

1. The assisted living facility or assisted living home you choose within the next twelve months is one that we specifically identify and refer to you after we evaluate your profile and requests but before we receive your notice of termination.

2. You communicate with us before you move into the assisted living facility or assisted living home.
