Heartbreaking Experience — I Would Not Recommend This Facility<br><br>The people at The Retreat of Loganville were mean and cruel toward me during one of the most painful periods of my life. I wanted nothing more than to be there for my dad, but I was kept from seeing him and was made to get permission from my sisters just to visit him.<br><br>I never got to see my dad before he died. I never got the chance to say goodbye. That is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.<br><br>My dad had been doing well at home, but after moving into the facility, I watched him change. From my perspective, it seemed like he lost hope and gave up. I will always wonder whether things could have been different if I had been allowed to be there for him.<br><br>I feel deeply hurt by the way I was treated. Families deserve compassion, dignity, and respect—especially when a loved one is nearing the end of their life. My experience was the opposite.<br><br>I would not recommend The Retreat of Loganville based on my experience.

I’ve had a great experience so far With everyone that I’ve come In contact with<br>The Retreat At Loganville is clean and Well, put together. The food is top-notchThe grounds are beautiful and the staff is amazing. Physical Therapy has given me a new lease on life and I feel very Confident that I will be walking again I would like to call everybody by name, but I might forget and leave somebody out that I have no complaints but definitely recommend The Retreat At Loganville to every One that I know!!

They were very accommodating for a last minute placement in memory care when my dad's caretaker was injured. I could drop in at any time to visit and he was well cared for during his time here. I felt he was in good hands and that gave me peace of mind during this stressful period.

My 93 year old mother is a resident at The Retreat. I researched almost every facility in Walton and Morgan counties before deciding on The Retreat. The following qualities set this community apart from all the others: a nurse practitioner who visits twice a week so I never have to transport Mom to a doctor’s office; a full time nurse in staff who responds quickly to texts; menus for residents to choose their meals (delicious and healthy); a maintenance staff that helps with any request- like setting up the cable tv and making sure the room is clean; levels of care- so Mom doesn’t have to move if her mobility becomes more limited; and most importantly kind staff who treat the residents like family.
