The staff was warm and friendly. The center has been well cared for. There is no smell or visible signs of neglect. If I had to be placed I would gladly come here!

My mother stayed at Patriot for hospice respite care. Unfortunately, her experience was not a good one. She was at end stages of cancer and in excruciating pain. Even though her medicine was relinquished to the facility as directed at the beginning of her stay, for approximately 24 hrs they did not administer her medicine correctly. She was merely given Tylenol which, for a woman who is on Fentanyl patches, oxycodone tablets, and morphine liquid, is basically nothing. Additionally, during her stay one of the staff members refused to give her milk stating they did not have any. We later learned this information was incorrect. Mama was barely eating at this point, and often the only sustenance she was getting was from milk, so to be denied this simple request was cruel. Finally, when she checked out of the facility all of her medicine was not relinquished back to her, specifically her pain medication. Once hospice learned what happened thankfully, her nurse went to the facility to retrieve the medication. If she did not have an upstanding hospice nurse mama would have potentially gone without much needed medication again upon her return home.

One of the best facilities I’ve walked into! My grandfather has had multiple stays at this facility and we’ve had the best experiences with all of the staff assigned to his care! It’s very evident that the staff takes great care of the facility as well. It’s one of the most organized and cleanest facilities I’ve been in! Would recommend 100%!!
