My son was there 5 minutes and I wanted him out of there!!! It was dirty and crowded and depressing. They stuck him in a room for2 patients and he was the third. No bed rails, no safety measures at all IT WAS A DUMP!! Even if I hated my family, I wouldn’t leave them here. I feel sorry for the people who are there. The food was uneatable.

I would not recommend this facility based on our experience. My family member was transferred here, and within 15 minutes of arriving, it was clear this was not an appropriate or safe environment for his condition. The facility was dirty, overcrowded, and nothing like the staged photos shown online. My family member is bedridden due to a disability and in the end stages of cancer, yet there were no bed rails or bed alarm in place to ensure his safety. After expressing our concerns and requesting a transfer through VITAS, we were met with an extremely rude response from the Director, who abruptly stated he was discharged. He was only there for about 6 hours, and during that time, he was not changed once, which is unacceptable. While one of the nurses we encountered was kind and professional, she also acknowledged that the facility is not equipped to handle patients with needs as complex as his. Overall, this was a very upsetting and concerning experience during an already difficult time for our family. I strongly urge others to carefully consider their options before placing a loved one here.

The staff are great when they can get to the patient. It is over crowded with 3 in a room when 2 is plenty, given the space! Patients linger in the halls mostly in wheelchairs, asking anyone who walks by for assistance, mostly to go to the bathroom. I do want to stress again how some of the staff were really wonderful!

This was supposed to be skilled nursing and rehab. My aunt received neither. In fact she ended up with uti because they left her in wet bedding for hours. I had to constantly track people down. Overnight She would ask for water and have to wait hours. They did not give her therapy for 4 days and never encouraged her to use any breathing spirameters. She was older with broken hip so it was imperative to not let her sit in bed. The bed had no rails for her to pull herself up with so she had trouble moving herself. Long and short, she died of septic shock, in just over 1 week if being in here. I know these places are over worked and under staffed, but I think not even addressing a simply care plan or basic items to assist someone is a problem. Not letting family be there past a certain time is also a problem. She complained they told her NOT to use her call bell. She was scared as she had livef 90 years and this was her first time in the hospital, ever. I know these are all the same, but I want someone to know when picking out for your loved one, if therapy is the object DO NOT pick this as your first option.
