Most employees are rude and don’t treat you well. Literally only one employee that showed any compassion. The place is a shit hole. Wouldn’t wish any loved one here. I visited my gf at the ward. It was out of control. And they drug them to go to sleep. Not cool. Shut this place down asap.

Pacifica Hospital Of the Valley is our #1 community hospital here in the San Fernando Valley in Sun Valley,California.The doctors,nurses and all of the hospital staff...the security guards,maintenance,laundry and kitchen personnel here are all very wonderful and really care about their patients.It is nice to be treated with kindness and respect in your most unfortunate times of illness and need.They are dedicated and committed to their work and value their patients care and their families,too.You really feel cared for and like you're part of the family.They are people you can trust and know that you're in good hands,the best of hands...Thank goodness for,"Pacifica Hospital Of The Valley"!!They're working together for us to make our lives better...

The hospital is near Sheldon and San Fernando Rd. It has 2 self park parking lots: In the front of the building and in the rear - in front of the Emergency Room. The parking lot in the front, you could barely see the lines to park.<br><br>Visiting: Front entrance is only available Monday to Friday and during business hours only. If you visit on the weekends, you must enter from the emergency room, which also has a parking area.<br><br>In the front, there is a smoking area (boxed in).<br><br>5-Stars: to the staff including the CNAs, the cleaning crew, and social workers. I saw a lady hand moping the floors in the rooms which most hospitals use a machine to clean the floors.<br><br>CARE QUALITY:<br>Care Quality: by far WORSE than County hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Now, as for the 2-Stars, I have been visiting a friend for about 3 weeks now. Till this day, I still have not met a doctor/physician in person nor given the name of his doctor/physician. It took having to tell the RN nurses - 3 separate times to 3 different RN within 1 week time frame to give cough medication to my friend. UNACCEPTABLE - UNETHICAL MEDICAL PRACTICE!!!!! Grrr...<br><br>Emergency Room: Just by looking at other pictures, apparently portable A/C is the way this ER keeps it cool. They keep some of the lights off, use rooms as storage as well.<br><br>A lady sitting in a chair inside the ER, complaining that she has been sitting there for 5 hours, asking when the doctor is going to show up - someone from the staff just mentioning that the doctor was on the way. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!<br><br>It seems that the RNs are the doctors at this hospital. They are the ones who seem to make the decisions by whether they should or should not notify the doctors, if there are any doctors.<br><br>Of all of the multiple times that I have visited this hospital within 3 weeks, I have never heard anyone one of the staff say DOCTOR of some kind. No doctor has ever made their rounds into the rooms like they do in other hospitals.<br><br>I'm surprised how this hospital continues on staying open, continue on serving the community.<br><br>PLEASE CALL and VOICE YOUR CONCERNS TO - OSHA.gov (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
